Kana PopCloser can be used to automatically monitor and close opened browser windows based on their title. It currently detects Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Mozilla browser windows. It detects based on browser class and browser title and allows to to modify the window title to make it work with custom browser versions. Kana PopCloser does not automatically close any browser windows \"out of the box\", but needs to be configured for each one. You can edit the title entries and apply wildcards to cover similar titles as well. There are much better solutions specifically for IE users, but since Kana PopCloser supports Netscape and Opera as well as custom browser titles, it offers a wide range of usage.
