Window Shades in an Internet Explorer plug-in that filters pop-up windows on an all or nothing basis or by user defined site lists. You can filter all popup-windows or based on domain name. The program automatically starts with IE and runs transparently in the background. It effectively killed all popup windows during our test, while still allowing you to open extra browser windows via "open in new window". The program can optionally display a tray icon or operate via keyboard shortcuts.
